![]() ![]() MY question is can the 2012 quad-core i7 handle 8 - 10 hour audio/recording sessions on a daily basis without having an internal nuclear meltdown and bursting into a vulcanic eruption of hot molten lava and fireworks like flames? SIDE NOTE: Why does Apple always build computers with such poor air ventilation? ![]() Some people suggest sitting the unit on top of something to get ventilation underneath the unit. ![]() One negative thing I've heard 2 - 3 times is that sometimes the Mac Mini i5 and i7 will run very hot temperatures. I'm seriously thinking about buying a Mac Mini (late 2012, Quad Core, 2.3GHZ, 16GB Ram, 1TB HD) to use with Logic Pro 10.2. During the last 3 days, I've heard lots and lots of good things from Logic Pro X & Pro Tools 11/12 users who own/use the 2012 quad-core Mac Mini. ![]()
